Kelly Skinner
Administrative Manager

Kelly Skinner

Kelly is originally from Houston, but has been in the Austin area for 15 years. She is joining us with a background in pediatric health care and she is also a Certified Medical Assistant. Kelly has 2 dogs, Lucy and Daisey, who bring joy & happiness to her life. In her free time, Kelly loves to play disc golf, guitar and listening to music.

Megan Harrison

Megan Harrison

Megan is originally from Houston, she moved to Austin in 2019. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology with a minor in History from the University of Houston. She has 8 years in the veterinary field, 2 of which are in emergency medicine. Megan has many pets: two dogs, "Koda" and "Milo" , a cat named "Twinkle Toes", and a fish named "Dean Winchester". She loves hiking, camping, fishing, Supernatural reruns, and being outdoors when the weather is nice.

Nathan  Shimandle

Originally from Carlisle, PA, Nathan currently lives in Round Rock, TX.  He graduated with a Bachelors in Science from the University of Pittburgh. Nathan has a 10 month old orange/white DSH cat, named "Ravioli", and a 8 year old Rottweiler/Pitbull dog, named "Caesar". In his free time, Nathan enjoys golfing and fitness.

Ashley Beard

Originally from Maryland, Ashley lived in San Antonio since she was 10 year old and recently moved to Austin in July 2020. She has an Associates in Psychology and takes special interest in mental health awareness and criminal justice. Ashley has a rescued chihuahua mix named Roxy, who looks like a little fox, earning her the nickname “Foxy Roxy”. In her free time, Ashley enjoys concerts, comedy shows, and walking with Roxy.

Dakota Davis

Dakota Davis

Dakota is originally from Florida, where he worked as a sous chef and a personal chef before moving to Austin. He has 2 cats, Remy and Tiberius. Dakota's hobbies include playing chess, cooking and baking, and he occasionally consults for a martial arts team in Florida.

Amber Mezger

Amber is originally from Marble Falls, TX. She recently relocated to Austin and has been managing her own Pet Supermarket. She has a pit bull mix, named Bear, and 2 rabbits—a Holland Lop named Maverick and a Lion head Named Casper. In her free time, Amber enjoys watching Horror movies, listening to true crime podcasts and collecting oddities.

Mariah is originally from Austin, Texas. She is joining us with a background in client services. Mariah has one foster-fail dog named "Axl". In her free time, Mariah enjoys paddleboarding and exploring the Austin area with her daughter.

Kaliah White-Williams

Kaliah is originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, which is 15 minutes from the North Pole! She moved to Austin from Washington state in June of 2020. She comes to us with experience in caregiving. Kaliah has one very large and in charge Siamese cat named, Honey Bunny Petunia Maria Johnson. Her hobbies include anything hiking, being near the water and hammocking in the trees.

Veterinary Technician/Lead Tech

Yessica Garcia

Originally from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Yessica has lived in North Austin since 2003. She recently graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Veterinary Medicine and Biomendical Sciences and plans to apply to become a Small Animal Veterinarian soon. Yessica trained a total of 17 service dogs for veterans with PTSD and disabilities, during her undergrad studies (8 dogs graduated!).  She has a “drop out” service Labrador, named Harry (aka, Scaredy Harry because he’s a scaredy cat!).

Nubia Cardona

Nubia Cardona

Nubia is originally from El Paso, Texas. She recently graduated from New Mexico State with a Bachelor's in Animal Science. Nubia enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and two dogs -- "Sierra", a Siberian Husky, & "Nyla", a Belgian Malinois. She is also a big reader and just started to learn Jujitsu a few months ago.

Julio Torres

Julio is a native Texan, who lived in many different places before settling in Austin. He received his CVA from Prima Medical Institute in Colorado Springs, CO. He has a Boston Terrier, named Roscoe, and in his spare time enjoys kayaking, skateboarding, reading comics, and writing.

Lindsey has been in the Austin area for 5 1/2 years. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography and an Associates Degree in Interactive Media. While she doesn't have any pets right now, she hopes to be a dog mom soon! In her free time, Lindsey enjoys her creative hobbies like drawing, photography, and embroidery and also likes to hike, cook, and do yoga!

Abbey Geraghty

Originally from Toledo, OH, Abbey has been working in Austin for the last 4 years as a dog trainer. She has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Sports Management from Heidelberg University with a concentration in fitness. She has a 5 year old Belgian/GSD mix and a 10 month old Belgian/Dutch mix, who she enjoys competing with in The Protection Sports Association (PSA) competitions. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, running, and hiking.

Niah moved to Austin from El Paso, TX. She graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She has a Shepherd mix, Kenobi, who loves cuddles. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym, hiking, kayaking, paddle-boarding and swimming.

Brisza Isaola

Originally from Miami, FL, Brisza has lived in Austin most of her life. She is currently attending Texas State University with a major in Animal Science and a minor in Japanese. She has two pets, an 11-year-old cat named Perscilla, and a 2-year-old Siberian Husky named Atlas. In her spare time, she enjoys playing video games, attending Austin Symphony Orchestra performances, writing, and embroidering.

Stephanie is originally from Northern, VA.  She has over 5 years of experience in the veterinary field. Stephanie has several rescue pets: a dog named "Fred", 2 cats named "Rooney and O'malley, a bunny named "Kinsey," and a ball python named Kip. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys the outdoors, hiking, photography, and baking sweets.

Griffin is a native Austinite. He is currently attending Texas A&M University, majoring in Biomedical Sciences, and plans to go to vet school some day. He has two labradors named Brandy and Abby. In his free time, Griffin likes to bodybuild, fish, and play golf.

Skylar Melnick

Born and raised in Texas, Skylar spent the last 4 years attending The University of Colorado Boulder. Skylar graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Ecological and Evolutionary Biology and recently started a marine archeology internship. She has two cats named “Spot” and “Wiggles.” In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer and creating art. Skylar is passionate about environmental conservation and plans to go back to school to get her master’s in marine biology and conservation.

Presley is originally from Taos, New Mexico and has lived in Austin for 15 years. She is joining us this summer from Texas A&M University where she is a pre vet zoology student with a minor in neuroscience studies. Presley has experience with livestock, exotics and wildlife. She has a sweet, but shy, cockapoo at home named, Maddy. In her free time she enjoys being in the mountains, riding horses (she is in her school's Polo Club), hiking, paddle boarding, working with wildlife and traveling.
